This is my fourth Olympics ever since I moved to the United States, and there is one thing that has been really bothering me. For some reason, the media uses the total medal count for ranking instead of gold medal count. This year, US media is doing it again and they admit it.

“China is also threatening to overtake the total medal count — which is used as the primary measuring almost exclusively in the U.S. — as well.”

Why? Can someone please give me a reasonable answer why the United States doesn’t follow the international standard in many cases???

일주일 동안 새로 온 TV를 보면서 지금 가지고 있는 전자기기들이 얼마나 오래된 것인지 새삼 느낀다.

• PS2 – 흐미.. PS2는 SD이다. 더 이상 그래픽이 괜찮아 보이지 않는다. 꼭 몇년전 TV Tuner카드로 컴터 모니터에서 PS1&2를 했던거 같이 모든 픽셀이 크게 다 보인다. 왜 PS2가 PS1같이 느껴지냐고.. ㅡ.ㅡ; 화면에 꽉 차지 않아서 재미가 반감.
• DVD – 멀리서 보면 그냥 볼만하긴 한데, DVD 또한 더 이상 볼만한 것은 아니다. 특히 파판7: AC를 보면 아주 티가 난다. 머리카락들이 왜 머리카락 같지 않은지. ㅡ.ㅡ; Blu-Ray여.. 내가 간다. =3=3 ㅡ.ㅡv

지금 TV를 모니터로 쓰고 있다… 거리만 안 멀면 괜찮구만.
